Firearm Product Analyst
We are seeking a number of firearm product experts, former gunsmiths, enthusiasts, or other firearm industry personnel who would like to join our rapidly growing team. The positions allow the individual to work remotely, with a significant focus on researching firearm products, analyzing their attributes and maintaining a list of features that will be used in the company Point of Sale software solution.

- Pay Rate: $40,000 - $45,000
- Salary and role will grow with experience with the company
- Hours per week: 40 hours
- Work Hours: Flexible
- Vacation: Three weeks
- Title: Firearm Product Analyst
- Reports to: Vice President
- Location: Remote / Your Home with 5% travel required
Responsibilities
Regulated Product Classification (65% of the role)
- Conduct research on firearms and ammunition
- Document product characteristics such as firearm type, barrel length, weight, type of sight, and much more
- Assign characteristics by manufacturer part number, SKU and UPC
- Capture information into the company product management database
Consumer Product Classification (20% of the role)
- Manage a feed of in-bound firearm vendor catalogs
- Review the data for consistency and normalize firearm attributes
- Evaluate and improve product imagery
- Maintain data in the company's database
Data Cleansing & Migration (15% of the role)
- Assist with the onboarding of new gun stores
- Evaluate client data for consistency and quality
- Work with the client to improve data standards
Job Qualifications
Experience
- 100% focus must be given to detail - the individual must have patience and an ability to focus on critical, regulated attributes.
- 7 – 10+ years of firearms and ammunition experience
- True enthusiast in firearms
- Expert-level knowledge of product configurations
- Detail orientation and trustworthy
Technical / Software Qualifications
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
