    Construction Services Coordinator

Supporting more than 1,200 Firehouse Subs restaurants in 46 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada, we are currently seeking a Construction Services Coordinator to join our team.

    The Construction Services Coordinator will provide administrative construction support and assistance to our Franchisees and development teams in all facets of design throughout the building and construction process. The incumbent in this position will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills; pride and accountability in their work; and impeccable work ethics. This person will be organized, professional, and willing to help in all areas as needed.

    Essential Functions:

    Review and approve preliminary building plans and final construction documents while maintaining overall brand compliance and objectives.

    Provided data and additional information needed on all cost estimates provided by general contractors to Franchisees and senior management.

    Maintain the Firehouse Design Manual and preferred vendor/supplier list.

    Review and approve Successor/Transfer Restaurants scopes of work.

    Compile and maintain specified materials, supplier information, and year-end historical data.

    Provide planning and supporting for remodel and/or new equipment roll out.

    Provide assistance to the Manager and Director of Construction Services in supporting tasks required for corporate remodel and new construction projects.

    Receive, process, and track the completion of maintenance requests for corporate restaurants and manager vendors that will complete the work.

    Create and maintain spreadsheets and other documents as needed.

    May participate in training classes, attend weekly meetings, and complete all other duties as assigned.

    Travel:

    Position is located in Jacksonville, Florida.

    Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation, automobile insurance, and a good driving record.

    Up to 20% Travel will be required to support restaurant openings, real estate site reviews, conferences, and/ or market meetings.

    Required Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering or related field or sufficient relevant experience to substitute for education.

    One (1) to three (3) years of experience in construction planning, preferably in the commercial arena.

    Experience working with trades, contractors, utilities, municipal entities (inspections and permits) helpful.

    Ability to manage multiple deadlines and bring projects to successful completion.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    Effective interpersonal skills.

    Oriented and organized individual with a "can do" attitude.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively meet all deadlines.

    Results oriented individual that can work effectively with limited supervision.

    Proven track record of success.

    Strong follow up and follow through on work tasks and assignments.

    Position Type and Physical Demands:

    The physical demands of the job include bending, sitting, lifting and driving.

    This is a full-time position, which typically functions Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Variable schedule depending on business activity.
