    Reports To: Manager of Social Marketing

    Firehouse Subs is looking for a savvy multi-talented social content marketer to join the Marketing Team in Jacksonville, FL and support digital content marketing initiatives with five-star guest and franchisee interactions.

    Responsibilities:

    Content Creation and Research -- Assist with creating and researching content for Firehouse Subs' brand Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram accounts, email program, website, loyalty app, and other digital and social initiatives. This includes storyboarding and filming social videos, taking photos, drafting copy, and researching content ideas.

    Manage Social Media Content Calendar -- Create and maintain a social media content calendar to support Firehouse Subs' publishing strategy. This includes identifying newsworthy events and holidays, supporting quarterly promotions, and planning Firehouse Subs' social publishing cadence.

    Social Media Community Management -- Act as the voice of the brand on social media. Foster and maintain strong and meaningful relationships with Firehouse Subs guests by responding to comments and questions as the brand in a timely manner.

    Franchisee Social Marketing Support -- Help coordinate a third-party Facebook management platform utilized by franchisees. Serve as a resource for franchisees by scheduling calls, answering emails, and conducting training webinars. Craft monthly newsletters to provide updates and tips to franchisees. Educate the franchise community on social media and resources available for digital local restaurant marketing.

    Local Social Marketing Support -- Work with the field marketing team to recommend and execute digital tactics to support local marketing initiatives.

    Social Media Analytics and KPI Reporting -- Identify and track key social metrics and report results and learnings to team members and leadership.

    Thought Leadership -- Suggest new digital channels, tactics, and other ideas when appropriate. All team members’ input is valuable!

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    1-4 years of related job experience or internship.

    Ability to communicate effectively and professionally within the company, while executing the "brand voice" for guest interactions.

    Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

    Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, planning, and organizational skills.

    Ability to think creatively.

    Basic computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint.

    Excellent writing skills--short-form and long-form.

    Photoshop experience.

    Strong familiarity with the functionalities of the major social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.

    Great people skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships.

    Keen eye for details.

    Excellent record keeping.

    Photography experience a plus.

    SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

    Occasional weekend/after-hours support and monitoring.

    Must love subs. Passion for food a plus!
