    Reports To: Vice President of Financial Services

    Firehouse Subs® headquarters is an exciting, fast-paced and high energy environment which supports a network of more than 1,170 restaurants across 46 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

    Reporting directly to the Vice President of Financial Services, the Assistant/Paralegal/Insurance Coordinator will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and paralegal related tasks, and should be able to work independently with little or no supervision. The individual will be a highly resourceful team-player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. The individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

    Job Duties:

    Provide highly sensitive administrative support; making high-level contacts of a sensitive, complex, and confidential nature both inside and outside the company.

    Coordinate corporate insurance policy renewals.

    Oversee insurance claims submissions.

    Process various types of legal documentation.

    Communicate with attorneys and insurance agents.

    Maintain an internal lending portfolio.

    Perform special projects, as assigned.

    Assist in the preparation and updating of speeches and presentation materials.

    Maintain knowledge of corporate policies and practices.

    Job Requirements:

    Minimum of 5 years previous experience as an executive assistant and paralegal.

    Corporate insurance experience.

    Prefer equivalent of two years of college-level coursework.

    Polished, poised, professional and resourceful with a strong work ethic.

    Ability to use discretion when handling sensitive, confidential information.

    Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.

    Excellent written, verbal and active listening skills.

    Be a self-starter.

    Strong organizational skills.

    Tremendous attention to detail and follow-through.

    Ability to work as a team player.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Google Mail, and Google Apps platforms.

    Restaurant/hospitality industry knowledge and experience a plus.
