    We are a local chimney service company that's been in business since 1987. We are expanding and looking for more technicians to join our team. This is a local career and we operate primarily in Harford but also go into Baltimore and Cecil County. This position is very technical position focused on gas and pellet stove service, diagnosis and repairs. Experience in diagnosing electronics is required. You must have some experience in diagnosing and repairing equipment. There is a lot of cross over in diagnosing problems between fireplaces and HVAC, vehicles, house hold appliances, and much more. While the focus of this position is Pellet and Gas heating appliances, you will still be required to learn and thrive on wood burning fireplaces as well. During the interview you will be asked to identify common parts universally used and prove competence in technical diagnosis. We are looking for people driven to grow AND lead. You will be required to obtain certification in the industry if you don't already have one. You will get out of this position what you're willing to put into it

    Responsibilities:

    Inspect chimneys and fireplaces to assess their condition and identify any issues or potential hazards. Perform chimney sweeps to remove creosote, soot, and debris. Repair or replace chimney liners, caps, and dampers as needed. Provide recommendations to clients regarding maintenance, repairs, or upgrades. Create and provide estimates to clients Ensure compliance with safety regulations and follow proper procedures. Maintain accurate records of inspections, cleanings, and repairs. Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Accountable/Reliable Ability to use power tools Ability to lift 80lbs Ability to climb ladders and work at heights. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Basic carpentry and masonry knowledge Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation Relevant certifications are a plus (NFI, CSIA, NCSG) Benefits
