Project Manager - Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Performs the initial damage assessment walkthrough with the client and adjuster.
Writes Xactimate estimates in a timely manner.
Develops and implements the scope of loss with client or adjuster.
Assumes accountability for all daily operations of the specific project. The Project Manager serves as the client contact and usually deals with all the logistics and production performance factors of the assigned project. All supervisors and subcontractors will report exclusively to the project manager. They are responsible for ensuring that all the daily paperwork is properly completed and submitted to the project accountant/auditor or the company’s billing department.
Develops and implements priorities of the job with the client to address the client’s concerns and priorities.
Arranges for the acquisition and delivery of equipment and materials expeditiously in preparation for the provision of all services.
Arranges subcontractors and casual laborers as needed.
Maintains the proper ratio of supervisors to casual labor and technicians.
Assigns tasks to each specific supervisor and holds them accountable for quality and quantity of daily work performed by the specific crew.
Approves all subcontractor bids and invoices.
Documents all costs associated with the project, or forwards them to the project accountant/auditor.
Conducts daily project meetings with Assistant and Coordinator and outlines the progression in the scope of work, or any changes to the scope.
Responsible for the successful completion of the project, including cost control and reporting.
Provide a Critical Path Management Plan on each project over $100,000 within 24 hours and clearly identify the remediation strategy to be utilized.
Knowlege, Skills and Abilities:
Project management in construction: 2-4 years
Knowledge of writing estimates and Xactimate
Good leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must be friendly and outgoing
Possess good customer service skills
