    Qualifications:

    • 2 years of Technician/Mechanic Experience Preferred- Proficient in use of Common Automotive Repair Tools and Equipment- ASE, MOPAR, or Chrysler Certification Preferred- High School Diploma/GED Required- Valid Driver's License Required

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and repair in a timely manner- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment- Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs- Explain mechanical problems and needed repairs to the service advisors and with customers in a non-technical manner- Continually learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay in-line with rapidly changing automotive technology- Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed- Maintain a safe environment while keeping the customer's car clean- Work diligently as a team player with a positive attitude
