First Children Services is currently seeking a BCBA Clinical Coordinator to join our growing Team!

Position Summary :
The BCBA Clinical Coordinator is responsible maintaining a caseload and overseeing training initiatives of NJ in collaboration with the Director of Quality and Outcomes and Training and Training Associates
Reports To : Director of Quality and Outcomes
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Maintains required billable caseload.
- Conducts initial and ongoing functional behavior assessments; develops/updates behavior intervention plans based on assessment results; and creates behavior datasheets that match behavior intervention plans in target name, operational definition, and measurement.
- Conducts baseline data and/or assessments to draft treatment plan goals.
- Completes assessments and required documents for initial insurance authorizations and concurrent authorizations within the allotted assessment time.
- Monitors data collection weekly to ensure data-driven decisions and program modifications are made on an ongoing basis; reviews session notes from direct support professionals on an ongoing basis; completes progress reports for his/her caseload prior to their naturally occurring due dates.
- Consults with interdisciplinary team members as needed (e.g., mental health clinicians, psychologists, OT/PT/SLP, etc.)
- Ensures relevant team members, including direct support professionals, teachers, related service therapists, and parents/guardians, are trained on student-specific academic and clinical programming and data collection.
- Ensures programming for his/her caseload is created in EHR system.
- Creates and maintains program materials.
- Training to ensure employees are trained to competency on their job expectations and responsibilities.
- Develops and oversees ongoing trainings to ensure all employees remain knowledgeable of best practices and meet annual training requirements per relevant licensing/credentialing agencies.
- Collaborates with Compliance Officer to ensure state specific training and supervision regulations are met.
- Collaborates with Regional Directors to identify retraining needs and compliance gaps following system audits and assists with remediation plans.
- Collaborates with other departments to identify training needs and ensures completion of them.
- Develops and oversees a department-wide training calendar to ensure a variety of training topics are offered ongoing in a cohort model, including annual in-service training.
- Ensures ongoing documentation of trainings completed by all employees and maintains relevant training trackers.
- Assists the Director of Quality & Outcomes with training needs following staff injuries, including debriefing and training remediation as needed.
- Provides clinical and operational supervision, training, coaching, feedback, and evaluation to assigned trainers within region.
- Meets with direct reports on a regular, reoccurring schedule.
- Ensures direct reports maintain outlined billable hour requirements.
- Ensures direct reports conduct assigned trainings as scheduled.
- Observes trainings conducted by direct reports on a regular basis and provides prompt and supportive feedback/retraining as needed following observations.
Education, Experience, and Requirements:
- Master’s degree in special education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- 3 years post-certification experience developing and implementing ABA programs for children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings.
- Previous training experience preferred.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification
- Appropriately licensed in the state of practice
- Clearances (current within 90 days)
- PA or NJ Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- PA or NJ Criminal Clearance (Act 34)
- PA or NJ Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)
- PA or NJ Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168) – to be completed for each employer where the candidate worked with children.
- Completed Mandated Reporter Training (Act 31)
- Completed Arrest and Conviction Report (Act 82)
- Completed Tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
