The First Christian Reformed Church (Hanford, CA) has begun a search for a full-time Worship Leader who will have the privilege of developing and leading the worship ministry of the congregation, both on and off the platform.

 The ideal candidate for the Worship Leader is a maturing and competent Christian musician whose love for the worship ministry of the local church is matched by a teachable spirit and mobilized by gifts of leadership, administration, and coaching. The ideal candidate will possess a deep appreciation for the formative power of the Sunday services and, thereby give attention to not only leading songs, but leading people into a deeper relationship with Christ. Finally, the ideal candidate will have a desire and ability to contribute to the overall health and effectiveness of a team of dedicated professionals led by Pastor Lambert Sikkema.

First CRC has been gathering for worship for over 100 years. For over a century, Sunday services have provided opportunities for the congregation to give glory to the Lord, reflect on his awesome grace, and love him as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They have also provided opportunities for the congregation to communicate the truths of Scripture and encourage mutual growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. All of this takes place on the foundation of sound biblical teaching, as well as the creeds and confessions of the historic Reformed faith.

Hanford is a small agricultural town complex of about 55,000 residents situated in the San Joaquin Valley midway between San Francisco, 215 miles to the north, and Los Angeles, 215 miles to the south.
