Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Video Editor/videographer to join our team. In this role, you will assemble raw footage into a cohesive film that reflects the company's vision. You review and trim segments, input music, and dialogue, and ultimately create a high-quality video with editing that is so seamless that it goes unnoticed by the audience.

Responsibilities

Familiarize yourself with the script and understand the vision of the company

Create a shot list following a script or outline

Trim/splice video and connect in an appropriate sequence

Input music, dialogue, and special effects

Correct lighting and coloring when necessary

Create rough and final cuts

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies or related field

Previous experience as a Video Editor or in a similar position

Familiarity with editing software

Strong portfolio of work

Ability to follow direction

Creative vision and attention to detail
