    You have completed a High school diploma or equivalent with completed coursework in drafting and CAD. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a related role for at least 6 **** years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

    You may have also acquired the following skills:

    • AutoCAD design experience (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)

    • Instrumentation and Controls experience (PLC Systems)

    • Develop detailed electrical design drawing packages (Panel Layout, Power Distribution, Schematics, Motor Control)

    • Proficient with electrical I&C codes and standards (NEC, UL, ANSI, etc)

    • Strong communication skills, well organized, with attention to detail

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Electrical Design in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Plant Maintenance and Projects Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

    • Design support for the start-up, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of process and production equipment and associated facilities and support systems.

    • Oversee field work which may include new installation, integration into existing systems, repairs and operation.

    • When designing and maintaining the systems, validate conformance with applicable safety standards and requirements.

    • Learn existing plant systems and support improvement projects and maintenance activities at a facility with highly automated chemical processing and assembly equipment.

    Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required.

    Your Total Rewards Package

    The range of base salary for the position is between $37.00 - $47.60 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
