This role is with the Dole Fresh Vegetables (DFV) division. DFV will provide INTERNAL CANDIDATES priority and consideration of their success in existing and prior roles as valid experience.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position is the leader and champion of Dole Fresh Vegetable’s low code platform, which will be used to transform many of our business processes by quickly providing the right data at the right time. The Manager Quickbase works with all departments within Dole Fresh Vegetables to develop Quickbase applications that improve and/or automate DFV processes. In addition, this role will support the Quickbase platform and initiate user outreach and training. This position will need to be able to support any performance and/or troubleshooting activities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Build QuickBase applications, functionality, pages, reports, and dashboards.
- Create design specifications for new Quickbase applications with stakeholders and other key users to develop an understanding of the need.
- Translate user requirements and user stories into actionable items.
- Use the QuickBase API and third-party integration tools to expand on core functionality as required to meet business needs.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Create and maintain application documentation.
- Day-to-day end user support including user provisioning, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance of applications.
- Hire and manage team of Quickbase developers in house or off-shore.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
** JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:**
- 7+ years of experience with Quickbase or similar tools, and demonstrated record of career progression.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing applications (code, low-code, and/or no-code)
- Experience with and excellent grasp of relational and dimensional data modeling
- Experience in agricultural, distribution, manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods companies with commercial operations is preferred.
- Outstanding analytical skills and a proven ability to connect data analysis with business issues and decisions.
- Familiarity with SQL, HTML, Javascript, Jinja/Python preferred.
- Proven process-improvement track record.
- Proven problem-solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Language Requirements: **** English is required, Spanish preferred

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work beyond normal business hours, weekends and some company holidays as needed.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science MIS, or similar, preferred.
PAY RATE:
- $150,000 - $158,000 Annually
