As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Stearns Roger Services with Outage Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit which is responsible for designing and upgrading nuclear reactor refueling equipment at commercial nuclear reactors. This opportunity is located in Lynchburg, Virginia.. What you will do at Framatome/Stearns Roger Engineering:

    • Mechanical Design Project Lead for design of commercial nuclear fuel handling equipment, for projects ranging from small to large

    • Coordinates all mechanical design and engineering work and other preparations which will be required to implement the contract within budget/schedule for assigned projects

    • Plans, organizes, implements and follows through to completion a solution to address client’s need

    • Represents the Company in communication with other organizations to resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work

    • May supervise/coordinate day-to-day project execution of mechanical engineers, designers, engineering technician in completion of specific project assignments

    Your Total Rewards Package

    The range of base salary for the position is between $95,000 - $129,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.

    JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

    · 3-5 Years of accounting experience (prior supervisory experience a plus )

    · Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities with capability to work through complex business issues at our nursery and farms, requiring both interpretation and judgment.

    · Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.

    · Strong experience in general ledger accounting.

    · Highly motivated and flexible individual capable of leading an organization while managing multiple projects and activities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, dynamic environment.

    · Must have the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects to ensure tight deadlines are met.

    · Ability to understand business requirements and define and implement technical system solutions and automated processes.

    · Ability to work collaboratively across various Dole and DFV departmental functions.

    · Excellent leadership, planning, supervisory and communication skills are required.

    · Strong leadership abilities in developing staff to ensure timely and quality execution against expectations.

    · Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface professionally with all levels of management.

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying information in a clear, concise, accurate and timely manner to all levels of management and staff

    · Advance Excel skills (working with big amounts of Data).

    · Report writing experience, Power BI preferred.

    · Able to communicate and work in projects with the IT department.

    · Experience in Agricultural, distribution, and manufacturing operations preferred.

    · Strong attention to detail and a desire to assume new responsibilities.

    · Team player, willing to support other team members as needed.

    · English is required, Spanish knowledge a plus.
