Job Description: Under moderate supervision helps develop processes on new material. Assists in developing data and in implementing equipment and instrumentation. Assists in developing and implementing various test procedures and evaluations with or without instructions.  

  Responsibilities:

• Performs investigations or analyses on complete systems or complete sub-systems
• Plans, designs or constructs developmental, experimental or production test and /or assembly apparatus
• Tests, calibrates, troubleshoots as necessary, analyzes finished unit failures, diagnoses, summarizes and records reason for failure and/or malfunction as required.
• Recommends and outlines changes in design, processes and/or materials necessary to eliminate future environmental failures and correct production or developmental problems
• Prepares reports using data and procedures developed independently or under engineer’s guidance
• Instructs or guides technicians or others as conditions require
• Maintains a log of all activity relating to work
• Conforms to all Company and customer specifications and standards
• Performs related service and repair testing. Reports results and maintains required records
• Performs any other tasks directed by Management to satisfy company objectives

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 5 – 8 years related work experience preferred
