SUMMARY

Paid internship position for duration of the summer with the possibility for an extended period. A housing allowance in addition to the internship pay will be considered for those residing outside of Baton Rouge.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• work in assigned department(s) to gain familiarity with how the company operates and apply that knowledge in daily work
• shadow employees to better understand job function(s)
• handle daily responsibilities in assigned department(s)
• provide formal feedback to company following completion of internship period

DESIRED PREREQUISITES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• pursuing degree in finance, accounting or business-related field of study (preferred)

• interest in banking as a potential career

• ability to work in our Baton Rouge main office

• attention to detail

• familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
