Our downtown Orlando insurance defense firm is seeking an experienced First Party Property Attorney to join our small, collaborative team. We represent insurers in property damage claims, coverage disputes, and bad faith litigation. This role involves direct, frequent contact with clients and offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a well-respected firm with a strong presence in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Handle first-party property claims including coverage analysis, litigation, and settlement negotiations
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and motion practice
• Manage discovery, draft pleadings, and prepare cases for trial
• Work directly with clients, adjusters, and experts to develop case strategies
• Maintain frequent and direct client communication

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years first-party insurance litigation experience
• Active Florida Bar License
• Experience with insurance defense and litigation
• Strong legal research and case management skills
• Comfortable managing deadlines, hearings, and discovery independently
• Effective client communication abilities
