Job Description

First State Insurance Agency in _PERRYVILLE _is seeking a quick learning, positive and energetic individual with a strong work ethic for a COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER position. 

WHAT WE EXPECT

1. Customer service is of the utmost priority as outlined in our Corporate Values.
2. Build customer relationships with a sense of responsiveness and sense of urgency.
3. Deliver and prepare “summary of insurance” for producer accounts and house accounts. 
4. Work with producer to prepare updated applications and submit to companies for marketing for both new business and renewals as instructed.
5. Review and compare quotes from companies with producers to determine the proposal presentation.      
6. Check all policies received (new and renewal) from companies for accuracy and compliance with coverage requested.  Deliver policies per producer instruction or customer instruction.
7. Handle all customer inquiries and notify producer of important changes. 
8. Coordinate with other departments for soliciting additional coverage not carried by Agency.
9. Review, acknowledge and update all monthly reports distributed by accounting department. 
10. Keep abreast of market changes by attending company meetings and continuing education classes as required and/or approved by Management Team.  
11. Attend and provide input at Agency-wide staff meeting and appropriate department meetings. 
12. Any and all other job duties as assigned by Management Team.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty Insurance License required
• Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR experience required
• CIC or CISR experience a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
