About the Role:

Join the CAROLINA CHILDRENS DISCOVERY CENTER team as a First Steps 4K Lead Teacher! In this exciting role, you will inspire young minds and create a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to 4K learning standards.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.

Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development.

Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and classroom activities.

Ensure a safe and clean learning environment in accordance with regulations.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Support the social and emotional development of each child in your care.

Requirements:

Lead Teacher must possess, at minimum, a two- year degree in early childhood education or related field

Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong background in early childhood education principles.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.

Familiarity with special needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.

Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices.

Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
