Universal Banking Supervisor Position Overview

Position supervises, trains and evaluates Universal Bankers and promotes an active sales and service environment by assigning work and resolving problems that arise in daily operations. Responsible for providing customer service through prompt, courteous and accurate delivery of bank services and transactions.

• Supervises Universal Bankers at respective location
• Communicates policies and procedures to staff and schedules staff meetings
• Maintains cash supply for branch vault through the Federal Reserve
• Greet visitors and customers in a courteous manner and welcoming smile
• Establish solid customer relationships through identifying needs, providing creative and best solutions for customers, and using cross-sell and referral opportunities
• Open new accounts, assist customers with changes and updates to existing accounts
• Answer customer credit and debit card questions, resolve maintenance issues, and post payments
• Processes customer transactions accurately and efficiently; includes cashing checks; making deposits and withdrawals; processing loan and ACH payments; calculating loan payoffs; and processing coin and currency orders
• Handles unique customer transactions and resolves more difficult customer inquiries
• Assists with the hiring and training of Universal Bankers
• Provides quality control for the bank through compliance checklists
• Secures cash and accurately balances cash drawer daily
• Provides internal controls for operations staff at location by following the Supervisor checklist

Universal Banking Supervisor Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience
• Two years of experience in financial services or other retail type industry involving client interaction required
