As our next Site Manager, Virginia Poly Operations, you are have strong technical knowledge and project management skills. You will implement and maintain programs that standardize plant processes, maintain a safe workplace, and manage manufacturing and distribution operations, and organize performance requirements against objectives.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain a safe workplace and keep employee safety awareness high. This will be accomplished in the following manner:
Effectively communicate that safety is the company's No. 1 priority.
Establish a safety and environmental response team to respond to in-plant issues.
Implement housekeeping practices that ensure 100 percent participation with tangible and measurable goals.
Identify safety opportunities and prioritize within the maintenance of plant functions.
Manufacturing process documentation.
Logistics operations including shop floor management and materials movements.
Financial transactions.
Training and retraining.
Quality audits.
Materials testing and reporting.
Materials usage controls.
Quality processes.
Continuous improvement programs.
Training regimens that certify the competency of repro and maintenance technicians annually.
Organizing crews to meet plant performance requirements of yield, uptime and minimum line rate.
Implement and maintain programs that standardize plant processes including the following:
Manage manufacturing operations to include producing plant pellets of approximately 120MM lbs. per year. Manufacturing operations are to set objectives using standard costs and seek to optimize operations, develop and implement cost reduction programs.
Manage plant expense budget.
Responsible for developing and maintaining self-directed teams by using the following metrics:
Manage distribution operations that include pellets inventory and shipments of pellets per the S&OP plan. Ensure process accuracy of greater than 99.7 percent.
Manage and maintain organizational effectiveness by ensuring processes are in place to optimize resources from R&D, logistics and other functional resources with focus on the overall objectives of the corporation.
Manage the change process within the plant. Assign responsibility within the plant staffing to facilitate the change process.
