Framatome is seeking a Electrical Engineer II/III for our Mill Ridge Road office in Lynchburg, VA. While working in Framatome’s Installed-Base Engineering organization, you can look forward to supporting Electrical an I&C projects involving various nuclear power plant design changes which may include Digital I&C System Modernization's, medium & high Voltage Switchgear replacements and other Electrical system Upgrades. Also, work may involve analysis of AC and DC electrical systems, including transient stability, battery sizing analysis, breaker and fuse coordination calculations using ETAP engineering software tools.

ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.  CANDIDATES WHO EXCEED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR A HIGHER LEVEL POSITION.

• ENGINEER II: BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, plus 2-3 years of related experience.An advanced degree may be substituted for related experience (MS 1-2 yrs or PhD 1-3 yrs).
• ENGINEER III: BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, plus 3-5 years of related experience.
• Positive and effective team interaction skills, along with positive peer relationship skills.
• Leadership and initiative in meeting customer requirements.
• Excellent communication skills (oral/presentation/written), and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate activities among the diverse groups within Framatome and with customers.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE DESIRED AND WILL BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE ALL CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

• Experience with digital I&C systems
