    JOB SUMMARY:

    This position will be responsible for full cycle recruitment; sourcing, screening, securing and retaining a qualified applicant pool for all levels within the organization. Individual will work with multiple departments and locations. The position requires experience in a variety of creative recruitment strategies to attract and retain a qualified applicant pool as well as build a pipeline for future roles in a high-growth environment. Customer service and establishing partnerships with all Hiring Managers at all levels within FirstService Residential is key. The Corporate Recruiter will have solid business acumen to gather business concepts pertaining to Property Management within a large organization to include extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Business acumen to understand and present FirstService as an employer of choice.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment on multiple projects with associates across all levels and departments of the organization.
    • Understand, embrace and model FirstService Residential culture, leadership principles, and FirstService Residential philosophies both internally with fellow team members and externally to clients.
    • Responsible for supporting ATS functions with internal clients and external users (ADP Recruiting Manager).
    • Cultivate and maintain an ongoing strong working relationship with business leaders and HR to understand the business units and create a partnership that ensures a timely and successful hiring process.
    • Support relationships with employment agencies to maintain temp staffing levels for leaves, vacation, and seasonal openings.
    • Develop and maintain an effective communication process between hiring managers and HR, including the request for candidates, the interview process, follow-up after interviews with hiring managers and candidates, offer and acceptance results and secondary recruiting plans if primary plans fail.
    • Determine search strategies and implement online and other recruiting strategies best suited for the opening to attract the most qualified candidates.
    • Continue to build applicant pool for hard to fill positions and cultivate relationships with desired external talent.
    • Ensure that candidates have a highly positive experience during the recruitment, selection process and onboarding process.
    • Drive the college recruitment program by attending job fairs, establishing partnership with career services and leverage a pipeline of candidates to support future and immediate entry level community management positions and support staff.
    • Review weekly job postings on FirstService Residential's website and career job boards and ensure the FirstService brand and position details are clear and enticing.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership on analysis of online advertising performance stats to better understand our ROI and negotiate annual terms upon renewal.
    • Administer the background check process through an integrated ATS. Focus on the information obtained from the background check to ensure the record is clear, driving record is good and driver's license is valid. Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership or HR when discrepancies are found and determine a "hire no hire" verdict on applicants’ candidacy.
    • Extend verbal offers, produce offer letters, and offer approvals through the ATS.
    • Participate in the preparation of monthly recruitment dashboard metrics.
    • Provide training to include Supervisor 101 and Behavioral Based Interviewing (BBI) to new People Leaders.

    QUALIFICATIONS"

    • Strong working knowledge of general employment practices, with additional experience in employee recruitment and selection.
    • Strong understanding of talent acquisition and its relationship to internal talent management.
    • At least 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in an intermediate to high volume environment with high expectation of service to the business.
    • Ability to understand, articulate and represent FirstService Residential's business.
    • Professional demeanor and strong business acumen with ability to credibly influence sell ideas across the organization.
    • Effective strategic thinking, cross group collaboration, and oral/written/persuasive communication skills required.
    • The ability to be flexible and adaptable to support internal customer needs.
    • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize workload (average of 20 - 25 requisitions at any given time, exempt and non-exempt level roles).
    • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, & Applicant Tracking Systems.
    • Experience using social media tools for sourcing efforts including search engines, resume mining, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and blogs.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE"

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in either agency or in-house corporate environment (high-volume).
    • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Prior ATS experience is strongly preferred.
