Position Overview:
As a Business Analyst in for (D1) team, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, developers, QA, and project managers to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives within our financial services ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and goals.
- Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements for system enhancements or new development.
- Translate requirements into user stories or specifications for development teams.
- Work with product owners and scrum teams in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure business needs are met.
- Support project lifecycle activities including requirements traceability, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and issue resolution.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a business analyst in financial services or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably within digital banking or core banking domains.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with the FIS D1 platform, including working knowledge of modules such as Digital Channels, Customer Onboarding, Servicing, and Product Configuration.
- Strong understanding of core banking processes, including retail and commercial banking operations, account lifecycle, transaction management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience integrating D1 with upstream/downstream systems such as core processors, CRM, payment gateways, and fraud solutions
