    2nd Shift: 2- 10 pm

    PAY RATE BASED ON EXPERIENCE

     $17.59 + INCREASE TO $18.47 AFTER 6 MONTHS 

    • Plus $.50 for shift premium

     

    EXPERIENCED DIE SETTERES: $20.18 + INCREASE TO $21.20 AFTER 6 MONTHS. (THREE TO FIVE YEARS’ EXPERIENCE) 

    Seeking experience running and/or setting up progressive dies on 300 ton coil fed presses

    To assist our manufacturing stamping operation, we're looking for experienced Die Set/Press Operators. To operate production and generate excellent output, you'll be responsible for loading, setting up, and running stamping presses. The department is organized as a formal team, thus you must be able to work well with others.

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • To stage dies, use a hi-lo and/or a crane.
    • Installing dies and operating stamping presses, hand tools, metrology equipment, cranes, and plasma cutters are all tasks that must be completed.
    • To start manufacturing, feed coils into the die.
    • Verify and record quality by inspecting parts and documenting the results.
    • Carry out troubleshooting tasks on the presses.
    • Maintain basic housekeeping, including scrap containers, to maintain the area clean and safe.

    SKILLS 

    • Ability to adhere to predetermined processes
    • Multi-tasking abilities and strong attention to detail
    • IATF 16949 quality standards knowledge
    • Installing dies, operating a stamping press, hand tools, an overhead crane, and gages are all required skills.
    • Using ingenuity and prior experience, solve problems and resolve issues.
    • Communication skills are required to communicate and interact with employees at all levels.
    • Ability to collaborate well with others
    • It is necessary to have sufficient computer and arithmetic skills to complete departmental jobs.

    Valid hi-lo and crane permit required

    You should be proficient in:
