Fit Athletic Club – River Oaks, repeatedly voted Houston’s top fitness center, is looking for a high-energy sales professional who is also a fitness enthusiast, and has a desire to expand their career by helping us expand our membership base and helping change people’s lives. Experience, personality, and drive will be the key factors.

Membership Sales Associates are responsible for:

Meeting and exceeding all key performance sales indicators for the Fit Athletic Club, including package offerings, memberships, membership renewals, retail and concession sales, and maximizing workout traffic.

Participating in membership activities and marketing events. Learning and maintaining an effective referral program.

Maintaining accurate records using established sales systems. Conducting telephone inquiries/follow up calls/customer care calls.

Leading gym previews and showings for new prospective members.

Greeting members and guests promptly, enthusiastically, and with a smile.

Responsible for processing accurate cash and credit card transactions.

Following up and following through activities with all prospective new members. Responding immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.

Working closely with the Manager and Personal Trainers to ensure that goals are achieved.

Mandatory Skills:

Sales Experience, preferably with a major gym provider.

Motivated, Goal Oriented, Self-Starter.

Able to multitask and work in a fast paced team environment.

Energetic and Positive/Upbeat attitude.

Outgoing, Social, and enjoy talking with people.

Love fitness and want to help change people's lives.

Excellent people and communication skills

Basic computer skills.

Flexible to work day, evening and limited weekend hours (as needed or as schedules rotate).

Preferred Skills:

Proven track record of meeting sales quotas/succeeding in an inside/outside sales position.

Fitness industry experience.

Experience with fitness membership sales.
