We are seeking a self-directed and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager/Bookkeeper to assist our Accounting Team in all financial and accounting activities. Under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant/Accounts Receivable position is responsible for:
- Maintain comprehensive communications network with the departments of operation and collection in order to facilitate receivable and collection activities
- Maintain customer master file and monitor customer account details for various billing terms; organize and manage the proper documentation
- Process invoice and credit memo according to specific deadlines. Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
- Apply payments to invoices, post daily payment receipt and bank deposits; reconcile AR Ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for proper posting
- Responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain various reports and conduct account research and analysis.
Skills and Abilities:
- Applicant must have complete knowledge of the order to cash cycle and related accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent organization & prioritization skills are a must
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy & timeliness
- Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative and effective working environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within deadlines
- Strong analytical and math skills; proficient in Microsoft excel
Education and Training:
- Candidate must have at least 2+ years’ working experience with a college degree in accounting or other related majors
Proficiency in Quickbooks Online Accounting Software
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work towards deadlines
- Trust worthy with references
