DRVEN is seeking a motivated and professional Performance Coach to join our coaching team. This is a W-2 coaching position primarily responsible for delivering high-quality group training classes while developing into advanced coaching services including personal training, performance assessments, and metabolic testing.

This role is ideal for a coach who loves working with people, values coaching craft, and wants to grow into a more advanced performance and health coaching career.
The Performance Coach will lead group classes, deliver an outstanding member experience, and help maintain a positive training environment. As the role develops, coaches will have opportunities to grow into expanded services including:
Personal training
Movement assessments
Metabolic testing (VO₂ / metabolic analysis)
Individualized performance coaching
We are looking for coaches who are passionate about learning, improving their craft, and contributing positively to gym culture.
Lead group training classes with professionalism, energy, and clear instruction
Provide movement coaching and appropriate scaling options for all fitness levels
Deliver effective whiteboard briefings and workout explanations
Ensure members are moving safely and effectively throughout class
Create a welcoming and supportive training environment
Maintain clean and organized training spaces
Reset equipment and training areas after classes
Support a professional and positive training environment
Build strong relationships with members
Provide encouragement, accountability, and support
Represent DRVEN values both inside and outside the gym
Participate in internal coaching education
Continue developing technical coaching skills
Progress toward expanded coaching services including performance testing and personal training
Strength & conditioning or fitness coaching certification
(NASM, NSCA, CSCS, CrossFit, or similar)
Experience coaching group training or personal training
Strong understanding of basic strength and conditioning principles
CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
