Group Fitness Instructor
The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for instructing group exercise classes in accordance with class description set by Regional Group Fitness Director.
*Classes consist of a warm-up, conditioning and cool-down phase. You will be assigned to a home club, but will also substitute classes in other clubs too.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Arrive at class at least 10 minute prior to the start of the scheduled class
Begin and end class on time
Instruct classes (including a warm-up, conditioning and cool down phase) in specialization and as assigned by Group Fitness Manager
Provide instruction and coaching to class attendees
Accurately record class participation and conduct class surveys
Ensure that fitness studio is clean and returned to original state at the end of each class
Qualifications:
Must have a Group Fitness Instructor Certificate by a nationally-recognized organization
Certified in field of specialty (i.e. 200 RYT, Pilates, Spin, etc.)
Current CPR/AED Certification
1+ years of teaching experience
