Are you someone who is passionate about climbing and teaching others? If so, we are looking to hire a part-time Climbing Wall Instructor. In this role you will develop, coordinate, and promote climbing wall program to help increase both member and non-member revenue. Additionally you will provide education to the staff and members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Belay members during family hours from 1-5 on Saturday and Sunday

Certify members to learn how to belay

Promote climbing wall as a business within the facility.

Follow all FFC Climbing Wall safety standards, rules and policies

Qualifications:

1-2 years climbing experience

Certified belayer, spotter and/or top rope climber

Physical requirements include: walking and standing during the entire shift, climbing stairs, kneeling, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs.)
