    Job description

    Fitness Machine Technicians of the PNW is seeking a assistant parts manager that is self-motivated, responsible, hard-working, punctual, and organized. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, computer skills and a willingness to work directly with customers and technicians to deliver superior customer service.

    Assistant Parts Manager with Fitness Machine Technicians is a mostly remote position, managing parts to repair all types of fitness machines. Training for this position will require 1 week on site with technicians as well as training in office/zoom training on software

    Job Type: Part Time (20-30 hours a week)

    Monthly technical allowance

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    •Manage and complete all parts ordering: accurately order parts based on initial estimates and reports; Communicate with parts vendors to order parts as needed; Partner with Repair technicians to ensure parts accuracy

    • Communicate thoughtfully, clearly and professionally with customers on phone and email.

    • Manage daily calls from technicians for any parts clarification needed.

    • Demonstrate attention to detail and adhere to assigned performance protocols.

    • Complete reports and paperwork as needed for daily job tasks and answer incoming calls as needed.

    On occasion will need to assist a technician in the field.

    REQUIREMENTS

    · Mechanical and electrical knowledge and a general understand of fitness equipment

    · A self-starter with highly developed problem-solving skills

    · Ability to plan, organize, and manage a variety of tasks independently

    · Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software

    ·Access to consistent internet/wifi access and phone

    · 2 professional and 1 personal, totalling 3 references

    PREFERRED

    · Experience repairing fitness equipment

    · 1-2 years successful experience working remotely

    ·Minimum 1 year experience inventory and parts ordering experience
