Fitter Welder

Looking for a skilled technician who combines the roles of fitting (laying out, assembling, and aligning metal parts) and welding (fusing metal parts together) to create structural assemblies or equipment.

This fitter needs a strong knowledge of math and welding techniques, along with proficiency in using tools such as oxy-fuel torches, plasma cutters, and grinders. Inspect welds for quality and accuracy.

Fit, align, and fully fabricate metal systems using blueprints, layout direction, and precise measurement tools. Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless, aluminum and carbon steel per plan detail.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications are MANDATORY.

Fabhar Facility is currently in Princeton, TX which will be moving to Van Alstyne, TX in winter of 2026

Compensation from $22.00 to $28.00 based on skills and qualifications
