    Job Description

    THE MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVE ROLE WITH FIVEZERO - 100% REMOTE!

    We are a digital publishing company with revenue from 3 main sources – affiliate advertising & political fundraising (CPA, CPM, CPL, revshare), display advertising via web & email, lead brokering (reselling leads that we acquire). The role will entail continuous optimization to these revenue sources. We strive to achieve month over month growth revenue growth for our family of brands and expect this newly created position to help us scale quickly.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • work with data - collaborate with operations to track, prepare, and execute the best performing advertising with available space while understanding the role of traffic in helping our advertisers achieve the best results

    • grow relationships using digital communications by networking with other brokers/advertisers to sell advertising space (email & display)

    • continuously reach out to source new network, offer, and traffic opportunities

    • attend meetings, communicate effectively, manage time efficiently to meet monthly KPI's

    • contribute to team initiatives as assigned

    OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

    Experience in the digital publishing/publishing/advertising industries a plus but not required.

    • Is a natural relationship and rapport builder. This role will be mostly Email/Skype/Slack conversations.

    • Is a creative problem solver and collaborates well with a team.

    • Is skilled at deal structuring and negotiation.

    • Has unwavering integrity.

    • Has familiarity with industry terms – CPL, CPA, CPM, etc

    • Understands the copywriting/editorial process and has commitment to operational excellence, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts and competing deadlines.

    • Has technical knowledge and/or experience working with email sending platforms , templating and html.

    • Has the ability to manage existing account relationships including revenue tracking and reporting to clients - skilled in Excel, Google Sheets

    • Has the drive to cold outreach utilizing online tools - Hunter.io, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, LLC filings to find owners, etc
