    Job Description

    OVERVIEW:

    Do you have experience selling franchises?  Do you have service-based franchise experience?  If so, we may have a role for you.  Fix My Boat is seeking a Franchise Development Manager to develop its brand-new boat service and repair franchising business.  In this role, you will produce incremental revenue through outbound sales calls and inbound leads in order to establish our business, meet annual recruitment quotas, and grow our network of franchises throughout the Southeast United States.

    Fix My Boat, Inc. is a nationally branded, mobile marine service company utilizing a franchising model for marine mechanics across the country.  Fix My Boat is offering a web-based and mobile App platform for scheduling repairs, invoicing completed service work, and communicating with marine mechanics who will service a wide variety of boat repairs at homes, docks, marinas, or wherever service can physically be accomplished by a Fix My Boat mobile service van.  Our mission is to build a national footprint of Fix My Boat service van franchises in territories with high-density recreational boat registrations and change the marine service industry to be much more customer-centric and simplified than it is today.  For more information, visit www.fixmyboatusa.com

    Responsibilities:

    •  Responsible for the start to finish sales process, recruiting Fix My Boat franchises
    • Meet and exceed recruitment goals
    • Research, respond and work all leads received by web, email, telephone, writing, and Trade shows.
    • Phone prospecting: set up a series of appointments to review program specifics, candidate questions, and recruitment processes
    • Prepare and present sales proposals and close contracts
    • Collaborate as needed with management and administration teams to ensure smooth and accurate franchise disclosure and franchise contracting process
    • Work with management to set sales goals, track progress, and implement sales strategies

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • MUST BE A RESIDENT AND LIVE IN FLORIDA
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field with two (2) years of sales experience (franchise or service-based experience preferred)
    • Marine Industry experience a plus
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment utilizing excellent time management skills
    • Experience delivering executive-level presentations and collaborating with all levels of management
    • Must be goal and business-centric
    • Self-starter who looks for opportunities to assist management and staff in daily activities
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Exceptional follow up skills and ability to find creative solutions to sales obstacles
    • Assertive, decisive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Flexibility to travel when necessary
    • If working remotely, self-discipline to work from home and provide a designated space for a home office free of distractions with high-speed internet connectivity

    The expected salary range for this full-time position will be determined commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  An incentive bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance, successful selling, and onboarding franchisees.
