Flagler Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Full Time experienced CNA which will also fill in as an Activities Assistant.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Clean and bathe patients or residents
• Maintain patients' hygiene and change bedding
• Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds
• Help patients use the bathroom
• Serve meals and assist patients with eating their food
• Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
• Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor
• Assist in scheduling, organizing and facilitating activities to meet the residents’ creative, social, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Adapts activities to suit resident and incorporate them into overall resident care routines and objectives
• Planning and facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
• Implementing activities that accommodate those with special needs.
• Handling logistics to make the event possible, such as making phone calls, advertising, managing inventory and budgets, training and motivating volunteers or employees, and coordinating transportation.
• Observing participants at events to gauge their enjoyment and obtain their feedback to improve events.
• Keep records regarding event planning resources, participant interest, and other notable information, such as injuries or behavioral incidents.
• Reporting medical concerns or observations.
• Ensuring that events are well-provisioned, event staff is trained and prepared, and that the event takes place on time and within budget.
• Providing participants with instructions for the event.
• Adhering to and enforcing all safety procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CNA license in Florida
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
