Pittsburgh Transportation Group is looking to fill the role of an Overnight Bus Washer to help assist in the daily maintenance of our fleet of vehicles. This position will be responsible for the appearance of all fleet vehicles by detailing and maintaining the overall cleanliness and care of all interior and exterior vehicle components.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A FLEET BUS DETAILER:

• Perform the duties of washing, brushing, and touching up all vehicles on a regular basis to ensure professional appearance.
• Assist in the install and removal of decals on vehicles, when needed.
• Responsible for maintaining the inventory of cleaning products in wash bay.
• Prepare all outgoing auction vehicles when required.
• Perform small mechanical body work on vehicles when required.
• Responsible for buffing and detailing vehicles to enhance appearance.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of parking lots.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS OF A FLEET BUS DETAILER:

• Education : High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience : One to two years in the automotive cleaning industry or related field.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES OF A FLEET BUS DETAILER:

• Must have a valid driver’s license. Cleaning of hazardous material training and certification preferred but not required.
