    The barback is a crucial role in supporting the smooth operations of both the beverage bar and raw bar by assisting bartenders and ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked space. The barback is energetic, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

    · Assist Bartenders: Communication and order delivery liaison between raw bar and main bar. Deliver raw bar items to main bar and deliver main bar drinks to raw bar. Bussing and returning used plate-ware and glass-ware to the kitchen.

    · Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner. Answer questions about raw bar offerings, provide recommendations, and assist in creating a positive dining experience. Recognizes and builds relationships with returning clientele.

    · Stock Management: Monitor and restock bar supplies, ensuring that all items are readily available during peak hours. Keep track of inventory levels and communicate with the bar manager to order necessary supplies.

    · Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing utensils, dishes, and work surfaces. Dispose of waste properly and comply with hygiene and sanitation standards.

    Requirements:

    · Ability to always be on time · Minimum two years experience in a high-volume restaurant

    · Thorough knowledge of the menu and the ability to describe and sell all food categories

    · General knowledge of beer/wine/liquor/cordials, as well as traditional cocktail recipes and preparation

    · An eye for detail and an understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques

    · Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol · A positive, energetic, and engaging personality

    · Basic math and computer skills

    · Neat, groomed, and professional appearance

    · Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to eight hours

    · A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
