    Job Description

    The Fleet Manager oversees and manages the company's growing national fleet, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety in all vehicle-related operations. Within this role, you will implement fleet management strategies that support operational goals, utilize fleet software systems, and adhere to company and regulatory policies.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Leverage the capabilities of a Fleet Management Program to identify and implement benefits, cost savings, and performance improvements for company vehicles
    • Oversee and analyze all vehicle-related costs, including fuel, telematics, rentals, and maintenance expenses, to maintain effective budget control
    • Act as the primary decision-maker for all major vehicle repairs and maintenance, coordinate timely repairs, and document expenses and issues
    • Identify and flag vehicles needing replacement based on cost analysis, performance data, and feedback from teams, aligning with operational needs and growth targets
    • Manage vehicle licensure, registration, and DOT compliance
    • Develop and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships
    • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees, customers, and vendors to foster and promote a collaborative working atmosphere
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred. High school diploma required.
    • Minimum or 3-5 years in fleet management or logistics within a multi-location or high-growth environment.
    • Intermediate experience in Excel and a fleet management software, proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong analytical and budgeting skills

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Maintain high accuracy in expense tracking, vehicle documentation, and regulatory compliance
    • Strong strategic decision-making on vehicle replacements and repair prioritization
    • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and external vendors
