    Fleet Operations Coordinator: Help Shape the Future of Transportation!

    Pittsburgh Transportation Group is urgently seeking a full-time Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you’ll oversee daily fleet and driver operations, manage charter and shuttle scheduling, coordinate vehicle assignments, and support maintenance planning.

    Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

    Key Responsibilities of a Fleet Operations Coordinator:

    • Operational Oversight: Supervise daily shuttle and charter operations to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant service delivery.
    • Dispatch Management: Coordinate and dispatch scheduled services, adhering to company policies, contract obligations, and labor agreements.
    • Scheduling Support: Assist in weekly scheduling and make adjustments as needed to optimize fleet and driver utilization.
    • Driver Support: Serve as a point of contact for drivers—providing assistance, resolving issues, and maintaining clear communication.
    • Data & Reporting: Collect and manage route data, performance metrics, and payroll information; generate daily operational reports.
    • Fleet Coordination: Assign vehicles strategically and collaborate with maintenance staff to manage service intervals and repairs.
    • Customer Relations: Communicate professionally with customers regarding schedules, pricing, reservations, and service inquiries.
    • Reservation Management: Accurately process new reservations and updates, ensuring up-to-date records and smooth scheduling.
    • Safety & Compliance: Partner with the Safety & Training team to uphold all safety standards, policies, and regulations.
    • Issue Resolution: Address customer feedback—both complaints and commendations—with professionalism and efficiency.
    • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure seamless daily operations.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of dispatch, fleet coordination, or transportation operations experience preferred
    • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
    • Mindset: Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented with a commitment to excellent customer service
