What You’ll Do as a Transportation Dispatcher:
- Assign and dispatch trips based on real‑time driver availability and customer demand
- Monitor live fleet activity to maintain timely, dependable service
- Communicate route details, updates, and changes clearly to drivers
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, schedules, and driver assignments
- Collaborate with operations teams to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Respond quickly and professionally to unexpected issues or service challenges
What We’re Looking for as a Transportation Dispatcher:
- Experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics (preferred, not required)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and effective in time‑sensitive situations
- Familiarity with dispatch or GPS fleet‑tracking software (a plus)
