Fleet Supervisor - Metals Recycling - Base Salary to 85k/year - Philadelphia, PA

• Our client, a high-volume metal recycler, is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee the logistics, dispatch, scheduling and maintenance for a fleet of trucks, roll offs, dumpsters and trailers.

• In this role, the Fleet Supervisor is required to be a hands-on leader, with a strong mechanical aptitude and computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the drivers, laborers and operators

• Schedule labor force as needed to handle production & delivery needs

• Work closely with maintenance to schedule preventative maintenance tasks related to fleet and mobile equipment

• Oversee inbound & outbound material logistics

• Managed dispatching of trucks, roll offs, trailers and dumpsters

• Responsible for inventory & critical spare parts

• Budgetary responsibilities
• Communicate with customers as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Metal Recycling or related industry experience

• 3+ years of hands-on dispatch and/or logistics experience

• Ability to troubleshoot issues & follow through with solutions

Compensation:

• Compensation for this role is comprised of a base salary up to 85k/year.
