  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This position requires the performance of some preventative maintenance items on fleet vehicles, as well as maintenance on vehicles when needed (other than preventative maintenance). Along with these items, complete inspection of fleet vehicles and documenting any changes in status.

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles & equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
      • In-House PM Services
      • In-House Mechanical Repairs
      • Welding/Cutting/Grinding
    • Conduct inspections on fleet equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
    • On-Site recovery & repairs of equipment
    • Collaborate with equipment technician to enhance repair processes and improve efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle
    • Work with Fleet Manager to coordinate equipment moves and vendor repairs when local outsourcing is needed.

    All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

    Qualifications

    Minimum requirements:

    • Must be able to read and write English.
    • 3 years of experience in the auto/diesel field preferred

    Abilities required:

    • Good Communication skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to take direction in an environment with changing demands
    • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
    • Experienced in basic computer skills
    • Workstation cleanliness
    • Position requires several physical movements including lifting, pinching, bending, reaching, climbing, and manipulating and handling objects (with or without accommodation)
    • Able to work Monday – Friday, with some Saturdays as well
    • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable/certification provided)

    Additional Information

    • Valid Driver’s License with a motor vehicle report that meets company guidelines
    • Must be able to read and write English
    • Good Communication skills.
    • Additional training & certifications can be obtained
    • Full Time, $18-$20/hr based on experience
