Product Designer - Conveyor Systems

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Product Designer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing conveyor systems from scratch , demonstrating a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a creative approach to problem-solving. This role involves working closely with our engineering team to develop cost-effective, reliable, and unique conveyor solutions tailored to meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conveyor systems using SolidWorks , from initial concept to final production.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet specifications, performance criteria, and cost objectives.
• Conduct detailed analysis to evaluate designs and ensure they meet the required safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
• Stay abreast of industry trends , technologies , and best practices in conveyor design.
• Work closely with clients to understand their material handling needs and provide custom solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in SolidWorks with a strong portfolio showcasing conveyor system designs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design , specifically with conveyor systems.
• Strong understanding of material properties , manufacturing processes , and engineering principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, clients, and manufacturing teams.
