Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-level JavaScript/React Developer / System Administrator . In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing web-based applications using JavaScript and React, as well as assisting with basic system administration tasks as needed. You will work closely with our experienced team of developers and system administrators to learn and grow your skills in both areas. Please note that this is an in-office position. Successful candidates must be available to work full-time from our Hauppauge location. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain web-based applications using JavaScript and React * Work collaboratively with other developers to design and implement new features * Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and design solutions * Learn and follow best practices for software development * Debug and troubleshoot issues with existing code * Assist with system administration tasks as needed, such as managing system access and configuration * Provide technical expertise and support to users Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field * Proficiency in both JavaScript and React is essential * Personal or professional experience developing a working React application * Familiarity with web development concepts such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design * Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a plus * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Enthusiastic about their work and eager to learn and grow in their role * Self-motivated, driven, and ready to take on new challenges * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Additionally, we would like to see examples of your work in JavaScript and React.
