    SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - SBL BANKING

    THIS IS 100% REMOTE – FULL-TIME POSITION

     

    Our client is a well-established and one of the fastest growing financial institutions in Massachusetts. They have successful and strong businesses in each of the three key banking areas – retail, mortgage, and commercial. They are looking for a strong API and RPA Architect and Software Developer.

     

    ESSENCE OF THE POSITION

    Our client is seeking an experienced service representative to support the Solutions Desk for the securities-based lending (SBL) business, which allows clients to borrow against the value of qualifying pledged securities in eligible brokerage account(s).

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Help structure the Solutions Desk for the SBL business and create a culture of exceptional service and excellence.

    · Understand the full product offering and lifecycle and help develop related solutions procedures and communications.

    · Provide day-to-day assistance to customers and financial representatives by coordinating across various departments.

    · Support the Credit Risk and Operations team by handling issues related to loan applications and existing lines of credit. Help with management and resolution of collateral maintenance calls.

    · Conduct oversight and reporting duties as required, including preparation of any regulatory or management reporting.

    · Present analysis and proposals around servicing improvements to senior leadership

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · Previous experience in a client service role, with securities-based lending or other financial services experience strongly preferred.

    · Must be a proactive self-starter, willing to take accountability and support the development and expansion of a new business line.

    · Client-centric individual, capable of working in a team environment.

    · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise prudent judgment making quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

    · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
