Role Description – Flexible Support Teacher (Floater)

As a Floater at MAG, you’ll be a flexible and dependable member of our team, stepping in across classrooms wherever you’re needed most. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, can work different shifts, and is enthusiastic about supporting children from infancy through preschool.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Lead Teachers in various classrooms to maintain safe and effective staff-to-child ratios.

Support children's daily routines including meals, toileting, activities, outdoor play, and rest time.

Help create and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities.

Maintain a clean, organized, and nurturing classroom environment.

Foster positive behaviors and social skills through interactive guidance.

Communicate effectively with coworkers and assist in updates for parents as needed.

Follow all health, safety, and licensing protocols and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous childcare experience is a plus

Certifications

CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)

Recent TB test and physical required

Must pass a comprehensive background check
