HOUSTON, TX: FLEXICREW TECHNICAL SERVICES (FTS) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager for our ISO certified client who is a leader in the Navy, Marine, and Off-Shore markets providing innovative Joiner turnkey, Electro-Mechanical, HVAC/R, Fire Suppression, and Electric Propulsion Systems.

DESCRIPTION
Program Managers serve as the company’s primary point of contact with the customer to assure customer satisfaction and proper execution of contractual scope. Manages, coordinates, and communicates processes of individual contracts, monitoring price, cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction from award through completion of the warranty period.
The DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER provides support to a more senior practitioner and will often be asked to take a leadership role for a portion of a program, ownership of analysis and tasks, and delegate down to team members based on scope and complexity of a given program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this position are the same as a Program Manager, although leadership and oversight of specific activities will depend on the direction provided on that contract or program.
General scope of program management includes but are not limited to:
Customer, Scope and Contract Management
duration, contract terms and conditions, risk assessment, and sales concessions.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; plus 5 - 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATH ABILITY:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Microsoft Office products, (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project).
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
