    UA Brands is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to join our downtown Fort Lauderdale Corporate office!

     

    This opportunity will allow you to implement your love for design in an exciting, and growing environment. As the Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the Art Director as well as other designers for both print and online projects. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating eye-catching and appropriate designs for catalog spreads while meeting deadlines. Must be highly creative while following the overall look of the brand. Must possess an acute attention to detail and have a keen eye for color. Ensures all work, both creative and technical, are reviewed for accuracy before submitted for approval. Must be proficient in the production side as well as the creative part of the job. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create eye-catching and appropriate designs while being respectful of deadlines.
    • Work on all aspects of the image production process including color correction, cropping, re-touching and re-sizing of images.
    • Must be able to coordinate work on a variety of projects simultaneously, and have an acute attention to detail.
    • Ensures all work, both creative and technical, are reviewed for accuracy before given for approval. 
    • Must be proficient in catalog or magazine layout.

    Required Skills

    • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac platform.
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
    • Extremely detail-oriented with project management skills.
    • Proficient in the Adobe CS6 on Mac platform.
    • This position requires the use of a computer and the ability to distinguish colors and details.

    Required Experience

    • Associate's degree required.  Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, from a four-year college or university, preferred.
    • 2 to 5 years of related experience.
