Job Title: Flexographic Pressman (experienced) Company: All-Tek Labeling Systems Location: Staten Island, New York Schedule: Full-Time (hours: 8am-4pm) Employment Time: Permanent Compensation: $23/hr-$32/hr, overtime opportunities About Us For 40 years All-Tek Labeling Systems has been a leading manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels, tags, and forms, for the healthcare industry. You will fi nd our labels and products being used in hospitals, laboratories, and pharmacies nationwide. Over the last decade we have expanded into food, beverage, and other industries to provide labels for packaging and promotional use. As our company continues to evolve and grow, so does our team. A Brief Overview We are looking for a candidate that has at least 2 years experience working with flexographic presses. If you do not meet this requirement, please see our entry level job posting. Our ideal candidate understands the entire production process from pre-press to finishing and is able to work independently on multi-color jobs with confidence. We have a 90 day probationary period in which the candidate must show they can work with minimal intervention and produce excellent print quality. Key Responsibilities ● Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses ● Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments ● Perform routine press maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues ● Maintain a clean and organized workspace ● Keep accurate production records and logs current in our system ● Follow safety standards and company procedures ● Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards Education Qualifications ● High school diploma or equivalent ● Forklift and/or scissor lift certification a plus Skills and Abilities It is assumed that the candidate has strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Computer literacy is a must as training includes learning our industry-specific software. For this specific job posting, we require 2+ years experience in a previous flexographic pressman role.
