    We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Accounting Manager to become part of our team. This role is based in our office and does not support remote work. The Accounting Manager will supervise the financial activities of our Thornton, CO branch, ensuring precision, adherence to regulations, and effectiveness in all financial processes. This position necessitates a solid comprehension of accounting principles, exceptional leadership qualities, and the capacity to collaborate efficiently with diverse teams. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations • Manage inventory accounting • Implement internal controls • Assist with month-end close processes The ideal candidate should possess a successful track record in a similar capacity, excellent analytical abilities, and the capability to excel in a dynamic work setting. Responsibilities: Essential job functions As the Accounting Manager, you will perform a variety of finance and accounting functions. This position requires experienced­ level professional work and frequent interaction with all departments in the business. Primary job responsibilities will include: • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, customer invoices, and employee payroll • Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline workflows and increase efficiency • Assist with month-end close activities • Become one of the DOI power users and ensure processes are followed that maintain needed internal controls • Research and problem-solve inventory issues to maintain accurate financial records Desired Competencies: • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills • Strong team leadership and development skills • Organized, self-starter, hands-on accounting effort, and attention to detail • Proficiency in Excel,(VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.) • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Previous experience in an accounting manager, controller, and/or auditor role Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 yearly
