The Vaccinator will administer the Covid-19 vaccine in a high volume vaccination clinic setting. The vaccinator screens for contraindications using Consent template and reviews the information sheet to determine if the individual has any concerns or questions. The Vaccinator will administer the Covid-19 vaccine by intramuscular injection orders of the prescribing provider and by the Medication Administration policy guidelines established by Beth Israel Lahey Health. This includes preparation of vaccines only when ready to administer them, documentation of the vaccination in COVID-19 on-line tool, documentation of the card provided by Manufacturer and given to the individual. The Vaccinator provides patient education as appropriate for the administered medication (includes patient employee handout on post vaccination, EUA required handout and V-safe handout).
